What will the apprentice be doing?
Working alongside our existing customer service team to provide telephone and email support to our customers, as well as other customer focused administrative tasks. Experience will be given in areas of e-commerce, in particular Amazon, eBay and Onbuy.
As a customer service apprentice, you will provide a confident, knowledgeable and efficient front line service to our clients through telephony (inbound) and responding to emails received into a centralised group mailbox.
- Answering the phone
- Dealing with customer enquiries
- Aftercare and service enquiries
- Dealing with enquiries on Amazon, eBay and our website
- Email communications
- Offering order support
- Other administration tasks
- Managing customer orders
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The Customer Service apprenticeship is a minimum of 15 months and should typically be completed within 18 months.
The apprenticeship provides a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours, which can be gained working across an organisation and its processes. Some examples of these are;

The apprenticeship is a firm grounding in organisational operations and functional processes, as well as the wider working environment.
Where you have not already achieved Level 2 English and maths, these must be achieved before taking the end-point assessment.
You will complete the apprenticeship in the workplace with support from a dedicated Trainer who will visit you frequently. All learners will have access to an e-Portfolio/ learning resources to help you develop and build your knowledge and skills.
