What will the apprentice be doing?

We would like to welcome a new practitioner to our small friendly team in East Dulwich. Our setting provides staff with a great opportunity to begin or further develop their childcare career with opportunities to progress well and take on more responsibility as we are a growing business!

Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Helping to prepare and feed children simple meals and drinks (the cook prepares hot meals)
  • Changing nappies or helping with potty/toilet training
  • Teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
  • Helping to get the children safely access nature play at our house or in local green spaces
  • Closely supervising children during activities

About the employer

We are a small home-based childcare setting with a great local reputation and fantastic relationships with parents. We look after children mostly ages 1-3 at present in a large house with a big garden near local green spaces. We are a Spanish bilingual setting but not all staff speak Spanish so this is not essential.
