Apprentice Funeral Arranger Hearnden - Smith & Daughters Funeral Directors

Your role will be to assist with general office duties, inputting information on our client database with regards to funerals. Liaising with clients, ministers, doctors, crematoriums and churches with regards to making funeral arrangements for our clients. Showing clients into chapel of rest and care of the deceased.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Arranging funerals, liaising with clients authorities to make funeral arrangements 
  • Inputting information onto our client database, taking phone calls and general office duties and office assistance together with keeping the office well maintained 
  • Preparing the deceased and showing clients into the chapel of rest  



What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • The qualification will be Funeral Team Member Level 2
  • Functional skills maths and English - Level 1
  • Training would be held at our Hatch End and Harefield offices by our team and a tutor on site 1 day per month and online

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • To gain a full-time role within the company over the long term, potentially assist with expansion

Things to consider
