What will the apprentice be doing?
The Recipe.
The Apprenticeship provides the knowledge, skills and experience needed for the role of a Design Engineer.
Once qualified you’ll support our Project Engineering department and site teams with machine assembly and overall production line factory design, process flow and manufacturing best practice, always with a keen focus on H&S, regulatory and legal requirements.
Typical things you can expect are:
- A varied programme that involves, electrical, mechanical, maintenance and Design engineering
- You’ll take on a real role with real responsibility and undertake challenging placements around the business
- A structured 4-year Apprenticeship Programme
- Varied learning through a mixture of college study and on the job training with your own personal Warburtons mentor
- An apprenticeship that equips you to become a Design Engineer
At the end of your Apprenticeship, you'll have achieved your Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and you’ll be ready to enter into a permanent role with us. This route is just the start of your career and can open the door to many more opportunities. What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
