What will the apprentice be doing?

Whilst the initial role is stores based there are many further opportunities to progress into a challenging and successful career within our business. Including business development through telephone, technical and trade counter sales as well as management roles.

Applicants should note this is a great opportunity however product knowledge is key and this can only be learned in a store’s environment.

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Receiving and checking deliveries
  • Order picking
  • Delivering
  • Ensuring stock is correct and placed in the correct locations

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative. All training will be held within the workplace with regular visits from an Lincoln College Assessor. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

There are many options to progress onto including customer service, technical, and management roles.
