The nursery strive to provide an inclusive, secure, environment where each child feels valued and happy. Your role will include supervising activities and providing high-quality care.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Daily duties:
- Meeting with training providers and completing assignments on time.
- To attend team meetings and participate in sharing ideas.
- Under supervision, provide all aspects of care for children including washing, changing and feeding.
- To assist with meeting the personal and emotional needs of individual children.
- To provide adult interaction with children in the nursery.
- To attend all training relevant to the role and deemed appropriate.
- Read, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to your role.
- Contribute to good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness in the nursery.
- To develop and maintain strong partnerships and communications with parents/carers.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard for Early Years Educator.
- Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Educator.
- Apprentices must successfully complete the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid. (RQF) or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) or complete a first aid course delivered by one of the following types of organisations as per the EYFS requirements.
- Training will be delivered in the workplace.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is a full time post available.
