What will the apprentice be doing?
Chaps IT Recycling are a growing Sheffield based business who are on the lookout for a talented and passionate IT and mobile device technician.
This role would suit somebody who particularly loves working with hardware as the primary responsibility
Duties to include:
- Refurbishing and processing IT devices
- Following and developing processes for a wide range of office and private tech
- Preparing tech for resale in the public market
- Working with IT assets from mobile phones and tablets to printers, scanners, PCs and Macs
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will benefit from working as part of a small team of IT experts, who will guide and mentor you as you start your career
Level 3 Information, Communications Technician:
Functional skills if required.
Over the course of 18 months, you will learn a broad range of skills that will assist you on your chosen career path. Topics of learning could include providing technical support, managing access and resources, managing users’ expectations and understanding installation and maintenance (these subjects may differ).
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will achieve a Level 3 certification. You will also be able to receive professional RITTech recognition, as well as sitting some industry-recognised qualifications such as Microsoft and CompTIA.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Opportunity for full time role after successful completion of apprenticeship.
