What will the apprentice be doing?
- Switchboard calls
- Greeting visitors
- Taking deliveries for head office
- Booking internal meeting rooms
- Providing refreshments for meetings
- Updating spreadsheets
- Opening and date stamping post
- Copying, scanning, and distributing post
- Typing duties, i.e. Letters and reports etc.
- Mark up, date stamp, and barcode invoices
- Scanning invoices and various documents
- Photocopying and filing
- Archiving of paperwork for all departments

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will work towards the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard.
The apprenticeship will be carried out in the work place and you will be assigned a 'work-based tutor' from Hopwood Hall College who will support you through your qualification.
You may be required to work towards Level 2 Functional skills in Maths and English if not already achieved.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, this may lead to a permanent position with the employer and further progression.
