What will the apprentice be doing?
Key Duties to include:
- Implementing new systems
- Working within a team as well as independently
- Deal with all customer service & logistics requirements
- Processing portal orders, ensuring dispatched on same day, updating the status on the portal
- Creating and sending invoices/credits via email
- Dealing with email/telephone enquiries
- Filing & archiving
- Booking collections
- Keeping daily despatch report up to date and issuing daily to the Production Manager and Sales Team
- Scheduling engineer attendances (on-site)
- Updating install board on a daily/weekly basis
- Creating installation packs for on-site engineers
- Liaising with freight agents for deliveries
- Creating export documents i.e., certificate of origin, EUR1, customs paperwork, commercial invoices & the packing lists
- Liaising with assembly team for consignment information
- Informing Sales & Production of logistic price increases and any custom changes on exporting
- Arranging the customer returns and liaising with Production Manager
- Creating risk assessments & method statements
- Booking hotels for installation team overnight stays
- Obtaining shipping quotes for large UK orders & international freight
- Signing off shipping invoices
- Liaising with the production & dispatch team to provide custom Manager dates
- Assisting the MD & National Sales Manger
- Offering refreshments to visitors
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably expected within the scope and skill of the post when required by the management.
