What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Working with a DHL team within a large warehouse, working alongside the warehouse teams. 
  • Meet deadlines to ensure the supply chain is running efficiently and managing unexpected demand​​
  • Forecast customer demand​
  • Business improvement techniques​
  • Gathering, interpreting and utilising data in the workplace​
  • Managing workplace projects​
  • Sustainability and environmental issues ​
  • Procurement and supplier management 
  • Ensuring all inventory is correctly labelled and located in required location
  • Inventory is kept in a quality state in order to be distributed.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Successful candidates will complete Level 3 Standard in Supply Chain Practitioner.
  • Blended learning, virtual classrooms and one to ones with tutors.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

By the end of our apprenticeship you will have developed the professional knowledge, combined with the skills and behaviours to become a successful Supply Chain Practitioner. With the potential to step on to the next level of business progression within the supply chain function.
