What will the apprentice be doing?

As careers go, starting out in insurance is amazingly satisfying and by joining our programme you will have the chance to experience it for yourself.

On a daily basis, you can expect to be:

  • Processing customer renewals and administering insurance policies and premiums
  • Preparing written responses to routine enquiries
  • Maintaining workflow systems
  • Processing new business
  • Keeping updated customer records through accurate data entry
  • Actively contributing to departmental key performance indicators and service levels, following regulatory controls outlined
  • Ensuring all company procedures are followed

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

We’ll support you to achieve the level 3 Financial Services Administrator qualification which includes the Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII) from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) as well as giving you access to excellent benefits as part of your career development, including:

  • Dedicated Talent Coach & RSA mentor
  • A comprehensive development plan that includes technical and behavioural skills
  • Facilitated Learning & Development workshops plus guest speaker sessions
  • Quarterly networking and community events
  • Sessions on well-being and emotional fitness

Your programme is delivered through blended learning with virtual and in-person workshops.  You will be given 6 hours per week to study towards your programme and qualifications.
