What will the apprentice be doing?
They need to be an organised person who is motivated, enthusiastic to learn and enjoys building relationships with others.
The role will be a mixture of office work, after school clubs, and seasonal camps.
Must have the interpersonal skills necessary to work well with coaches in their programme as well as school leaders and have the empathy to address the concerns of parents.
Need to take pride in “behind-the-scenes" which means working with the Club Administrators to ensure seamless scheduling which puts the coaching teams in a position to succeed.
Apprentice Sport Coach Foundational Duties
- This will be divided between breakfast and after school sports clubs, PPA cover and a minimum of 3 days times 8 hours a day a week in seasonal holiday camps
- During term time, they will spend a proportion of their time supporting the club administrators in preparing school term-time forms for the next term and ensuring school and club term-time courses are uploaded onto the booking system
- Assist to schedule coaches for the next term, identify and fill gaps
