What will the apprentice be doing?
From catch ups with friends and family get togethers or watching the big game, we're here for any occasion. We serve traditional carvery, classic pub food and quality drinks every day, with a selection of options to suit everyone.
Our carvery includes a choice of three 14-hour slow-cook meats, along with a selection of potatoes and choice of seasonal vegetables - plus as much gravy as you like!
As an Apprentice in Bar & Waiting you don't need to have experience as we'll teach you everything you need... All you need is a warm and friendly personality, willingness to learn and a genuine love for what you do.

Responsibilities included in this role:
- Maintenance of a safe, hygienic and secure working environment
- Working effectively as part of a hospitality team
- Serve food at the table
- Give customers a positive impression of yourself and your organisation
- Serve alcoholic and soft drinks
- Keep up to date with new products, menus and promotions
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and licensing laws
- Be involved and contribute at all team meetings
- Carry out instructions as given by management and head office

What your apprenticeship includes
- A mixture of face to face and skype/phone catch ups every 4 - 6 weeks
- A mixture of on and off the job training, including workshops and webinars
- Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Trainer
- Feedback sessions to discuss progress
- Obtain Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSE or equivalent)
