Our Apprenticeship Programme will allow you to grow and develop as part of our ‘Early Career Hire’ Talent pipeline within our Contracts and Procurement Team, through our Higher Apprenticeship in Quantity Surveying. What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Work closely with Consultants, Contractors and Developers in all aspects of delivering projects
  • Participate in the analysis, preparation, and management of all costs, from initial cost assessments through to project completion
    Work towards a programme, within budget, and with a focus on quality and customers
  • Selection and management of suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Developing a good understanding of the knowledge, skills, and experience as a construction professional
  • Become an expert in contracts, financial management and contract law

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Training will involve four days a week on the project and one day at college
  • Start date will be September 2023 and the course duration will be 3 years
  • You will be working towards a Level 6 Chartered Surveyor Apprenticeship Degree 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Become a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager
  • Extend your qualifications by taking on further postgraduate study
