What will the apprentice be doing?
1. Maintain ICT Helpdesk issues log and computer systems
- Resolving ICT or related queries.
- Problem solving.
- Providing technical assistance.
- Maintaining ICT equipment.
- Maintain & support Foundation ICT Helpdesk Issue Log.
- Housekeeping to be always maintained.
2. Installing and configuring hardware
- Responsible for the deployment of all ICT equipment.
- Upgrading or replacement of equipment.
- Resolving faults
3. End user support to staff and participants
- Organise and/or deliver Foundation events.
- Support IT and Data Lead with ICT requirements at Foundation outreach sites.
- Support the objectives and aims of the Foundation of Light, and associated companies as relevant, as provided in the Business Plans.
- Support the Events Manager with ICT provision at events and managers with presentations as required.
- Requisitioning/auditing all ICT supplies.
- Procurement using Foundation Purchase Order Systems.
- Liaising with IT and Data Lead and outside agencies.
You will be required to undertake other duties from time to time as required.
Any potential permanent changes to your role will be discussed, and agreement reached prior to being undertaken. You will be notified of any permanent change in writing. In addition to your normal duties, you may be required to undertake additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the Foundation of Light.
