What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Respond to routine correspondence and enquiries from a range of clients.
  • General financial administration (office supplies management, telephony, emails, postal duties, file management etc).
  • Meeting and greeting clients.
  • Data management and entry.
  • Collate and coordinate new client files and sign ups.
  • Producing and sending letters of engagement.
  • Eventually successful applicant will be trained to do VAT returns and processing client receipts.
  • Maintain manual and computerised filing systems.
  • General office duties (faxing, filing, scanning, photocopying etc.)
  • Other roles and responsibilities where appropriate.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 3 Business Admin Qualification
  • Maths and English to Level 2 required, if not already achieved
  • Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour in relation to customer service principles and practices, business principles, technical competencies, knowledge and understanding, research activities, commercial awareness, managing challenging situations and taking ownership, health and safety.
