What will the apprentice be doing?
The role is wide ranging and includes the following duties and responsibilities:
- Maintaining our marketing systems
- Keeping our website up to date
- Measuring business performance, collecting data and presenting it for monthly reports
- Purchasing office supplies
- Helping team members with the software we use with the support of helpdesks
- Dealing with new customer onboarding processes
- Processing customer annual service renewals
- Answering the telephone
- Making sure team members complete regulatory training
- Processing customer records
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The college-taught sessions for this programme are delivered as day release in which the apprentice would come to college for one day per week on a rolling weekly basis, undertaking practical, theory and Functional Skills in English and Maths if required, and this is all delivered at their Main Campus here in Paignton.
The apprentice would then be working within the employer’s workplace for the rest of their working week.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The Apprenticeship depending on progress will lead to becoming the Administration Manager responsible for a range of support functions for the business including marketing administration, customer communication, new customer onboarding, existing customer service renewals, purchasing, business performance measurement. It is expected that you will be able to grow into the role and start to make decisions about how your role is carried out.
