What will the apprentice be doing?

Main Role and Responsibilities
• Goods received process (Receiving, checking & booking in
• Identify, label, counting of stock
• Recording/reporting damage.
• Packing & Despatching goods
• Warehouse cleanliness.
• Booking collections & despatches with various Carrier Companies
• Stock Checks
• Monitoring weekly collection of rubbish.
• Operating the Fork-lift and ensuring it is correctly maintained
• Use of the companies CRM system
• ISO compliance
• Assisting with organising general property maintenance

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Apprentice will work towards completing the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 qualification at the business premises one day a week.

Opportunities may also be available to be trained to drive the forklift.


What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

At the end of the apprenticeship there may be opportunities to move into a permanent position within the team depending on the availability of vacancies and the individuals performance throughout the apprenticeship.
