What will the apprentice be doing?

The Studio Assistant will be provided with the help and support to undertake the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship. They will develop their skills throughout the role and through this they will be able to gain more exposure to more areas of the studio as they progress.

The core responsibilities for this role are:

  • Keeping the studio running like a well-oiled machine
  • Energy, optimism, and attitude
  • Booking in & greeting guests for wider L&F London Team
  • Being the voice of the London office telephone line and assisting with queries and taking messages
  • Book meeting rooms and help prepare the rooms for large meetings
  • Manage and carry out catering requests using L&F kitchen and equipment
  • Manage and oversee catering bookings with other suppliers, such as building caterer
  • Take general pride in appearance of studio by keeping tidy
  • Helping studio manager with green initiatives
  • Making grocery orders and keeping check on stock for staff breakfasts, weekly company updates, socials, and client events
  • Booking meeting rooms for wider L&F London Team
  • Manage incoming post and distribution as well as all courier requests
  • Looking after the stationery cupboards and stocking as required
  • Administration duties which are ad-hoc, such as assisting Studio Manager with expenses submission

Qualifications
Where a business administrator has not already achieved Level 2 English and Maths, they must do so before taking the end-point assessment.

Things to consider

As a member of the Studio Team, you will be enrolled onto the Business Admin Level 3 Apprenticeship shortly after your start date. The apprenticeship takes approximately 18 months to complete and during this time you’ll achieve the skills, knowledge and behaviours necessary to work effectively in an Office based role. This is a Apprenticeship role, and significant training and development will be available over an 18 month period. Whilst you will be fully supported to undertake and complete your studies, this programme does require personal commitment to study in your own time, in addition to the time provided by the Company.
