What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To report to and follow work instruction from mentor and supervisor
  • To remove paint and repair bodywork on all types of vehicles
  • To be able to prepare the vehicle, prepare the paint and apply.
  • To be self motivated
  • The ability to work within a team with a “willing to help attitude”
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • To have a high standard of safety awareness
  • To complete all documentation clearly and accurately
  • Hands on approach and willing to learn
  • Ensuring highest standard/quality of workmanship on all vehicle body and paint repairs on car, light, heavy and specialist commercial vehicles
  • Exceeding of Customer’s expectations
  • Ensuring that a safe system of work is carried out at all times and in line with the Company’s health, safety, environmental and quality procedures

  • Balfour Beatty offers a comprehensive training programme in Accident repair with the opportunity of completing industry recognised vocational qualifications
  • As part of the Apprenticeship scheme you will be supported with gaining a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Accident Repair within 24 months
