We are a small team and are looking to develop the right candidate and train in all aspects of the business. This is a fantastic role to develop yourself as an administrator and then progress onto Accounts.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Weekly and monthly bookkeeping for your own portfolio of clients which you will have direct contact with
  • VAT return preparation for review by a senior manager
  • Preparation of payroll/CIS for approval by a senior manager
  • Assisting with our internal client management systems.  Liaising with senior members of staff with regards to new client onboarding and detail changes for existing clients
  • Having a genuine impact in all areas of the business, offering suggestions for efficiency and process improvement for all our systems
  • To assist with our data extraction software Dext, we want you to become our software expert
  • Supporting senior members of staff with accounts preparation and provide administration support
  • Being involved in online and face to face meetings with clients, allowing you a real insight into what our senior members discuss with clients for you to take notes and learn for future meeting opportunities
  • Assisting with telephone calls to HMRC as well as generic office duties

Level 3 Business Administrator standard.
