What will the apprentice be doing?

The working day will start in Leek, with extensive travel throughout Cheshire and Greater Manchester working at different construction sites.

You will learn many different skills to be a rounded joiner and kitchen fitter. Extensive use of numerous power tools; skills will include using jigs, scribing, lazer leveling and joining worktops.

There's excellent progression opportunities, with the potential to have you own van and manage your own jobs, with great earning potential in the future as you become fully qualified more experience.

CSCS apprentice card and training provided to ensure you are certified to work on building sites sites.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Furniture Manufacturer Apprenticeship Standard.

Workplace delivery, with no day release to Macclesfield College. Throughout your apprenticeship programme you will have a personal Assessor/Coach, as well as support from your mentor in the workplace. This will give you a great skill-set and knowledge to become a fully qualified kitchen installer.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

After completion of your apprenticeship you will potentially have the opportunity to progress onto full time position within the business.
