What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers.
  • Support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested.
  • Liaising with suppliers and clients to ensure payments are correct and made and received in good time
    Inputting supplier invoices and credits onto the system.
  • Checking supplier invoices against tickets received from site and goods received, plant invoices against site tickets and plant returns
  • Carry out price checking when required
  • Checking agency invoices against timecards and timesheets
  • Doing the LOSC and employee wages
  • Checking and paying petty cash claims
  • Working with the buying department to resolve invoice queries in a timely manner
  • Checking supplier statements and resolving any queries which arise, requesting missing invoices and credits
  • Answering the telephone and assisting with account queries
  • Assisting the office staff with general duties to ensure the business remains compliant with current legislation.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will gain the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.  The training will all be done within the company and will be assessor led.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

After gaining your qualification, the company will discuss the next level of training to enable you to progress within the company.
