What will the apprentice be doing?

Work Allocation

  • Learn how to prioritise work load
  • Liaise with suppliers as required
  • Complete loading schedules and all unloaders notified within agreed time frames
  • Complete loading schedules sent to management within agreed time frames
  • Keeping work allocation sheet updated with all relevant information

Customer service

  • Pictures – Ensure all pictures taken as proof of job completion by off loaders are filed
  • Tracking report – Review customer complaints and follow up as required
  • External report – Review supplier complaints and follow up as required
  • Liaising with customers / suppliers
  • Internal & External customer service feedback & reporting

General administration duties

  • Sending out correspondence / forms as required / Adobe
  • Raising invoices / Purchase Order’s
  • Reconciling invoices from sub-contractors
  • Reconciling mileage claims made by employees
  • Receiving and dealing with incoming calls
  • All actives to be completed to agreed time frames
  • Authorising Loaders holiday requests as required
  • Recruitment – Place adverts / Place on trial days
  • Complete a record of all incoming telephone calls and action taken
  • Provide feedback and reports as required at the discretion of GM / MD
  • Support the finance department with invoice reconciliation and paying suppliers
  • Support the HR department dealing with employee enquiries and training
  • General administration support as may be required

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • You will achieve by the end of your apprenticeship an Advanced Level Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
  • Basingstoke ITEC will deliver your apprenticeship qualification at your place of work or within the ITEC office
  • You will be required to attend workshops at Basingstoke ITEC, which will be during your working hours

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon completion of your apprenticeship you will expect to have a permanent role with the Kaybee Team.
