What will the apprentice be doing?

  • As a Project Management Apprentice, you will support Senior Project Managers undertaking specific project tasks, working towards being supported to manage your own projects
  • Many of our clients are public sector bodies such as the MoD
  • Our client list includes many local authorities, unitary and county councils, schools, universities, health authorities and blue light services
  • We also provide project management services to the private sector and our client list includes blue chip housing developer’s energy sector clients and defence contractors

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a real passion for project management to develop their skills working on large projects supporting and learning from more experienced managers and putting your learning into practice by managing your own, initially smaller, projects.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Learning on the Job supporting Senior Project Managers
  • You will gain direct experience working within the Project Management team
  • Alongside this you will attend a local university 1 day per week (during term time) where you will be supported in completing your Project Management degree

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon completion, apprentices will be eligible to become associate members of the Association for Project Management. Apprentices can also progress to the Level 6 Project Manager Degree Apprenticeship Standard.
