What will the apprentice be doing?

Working alongside a Mentor you will make sure materials are stored safely and securely. Making sure work areas are kept tidy at all times.

Learning and understanding the basics of dry lining including measuring, cutting, mixing and applying adhesives and fixing plasterboards.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will achieve your L2 Interior System Installer Qualification.

You will attend Northumberland Skills Construction Seghill Northumberland on a day release  basis 1 day per week

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

A full time position for the right person on completion of the L2 Interior System Installer qualification

Ormston and Davis are a local Dry lining company that carry out Dry lining which is a form of cladding for internal walls, and sometimes ceilings. Plasterboard is attached to create a smooth surface then plaster is applied. Ormston and Davis mainly work on new build houses.
