You will work within our team of Transport Planners, assisting with producing transport assessments, traffic models and travel plans. What will the apprentice be doing?
- Writing reports
- Providing technical information for all types of planning applications and a range of different land uses
- Commissioning traffic surveys
- Attending site visits
- Producing capacity assessments for all types of junctions using Junctions9, Linsig, and VISSIM software packages
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be working towards the Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Transport Planning at Leeds College of Building. The course operates on 2 week block release.
