What will the apprentice be doing?

The success candidate will work as part of a team, with the key role of being to provide administrative support to the business.

Office duties to include:

  • Answering incoming calls
  • Taking messages
  • Meeting and greeting any visitors
  • Facilitating meetings
  • Filing
  • Post
  • Photocopying
  • Printing
  • Data Entry
  • Scanning


  • Comply with all in house and statutory health and safety procedures.
  • Attend training to develop expertise and further knowlege.
  • Any other dutite that may be part of the role.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Business Administrator Level 3

Where a business administrator has not already achieved Level 2 English and Maths, they must do so before taking the end-point assessment.

Location: Darlington

Working 5 days per week including 1 day release for study at Darlington College.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, a permanent position will be considered.
