What will the apprentice be doing?

1. Data input duties using College / Northern Skills Group Information systems.

2. Taking telephone and other telecommunications messages.

3. To undertake general filing and uploading of electronic and paper correspondence for

Directorate / Department.

4. To assist staff in preparation of learning materials (where appropriate).

5. To keep Directorate / Departmental notice boards up to date.

6. To assist with enrolment.

7. To support staff in receiving visitors to the Directorate / Department.

8. To actively show a commitment to the Directorate / Departmental Strategic Objectives.

9. To show an active commitment to the College's Equality and Diversity Policy, Quality

Frameworks and Health & Safety Procedures.

10. To actively participate in Continuous Professional Development including the introduction

of new technologies to allow you to contribute effectively to the success of the College.

11. To carry out such other appropriate duties commensurate with your skills, knowledge and experience.

12. The College may, in consultation with you, need to vary these duties from time to time in order to respond to the changing requirements of the College.
