We have an opening for an Early Years Apprentice in our nursery working with babies and children aged up to 5-years-old.   The right candidate must have a knowledge of child development and have a thirst to grow professionally.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Interacting with the children

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Training will be provided by Riverside Training (Spalding) Ltd. Training is work based meaning you spend the majority of time within the workplace but will be released into the training centre periodically if needed.

During this apprenticeship, you will work towards learning the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours of the Early Years Educator Standard and you will work towards the Level 3 Diploma for the Early years practitioner (Educator) Paediatric First Aid Certification and functional skills in English and maths as required

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

To gain your qualification as a qualified early years educator with the possibility to progress to a full-time job, subject to interview.
