What will the apprentice be doing?

We are currently looking to recruit a Paralegal Apprentice to join our team within a busy office environment in Bolton. This role will be an integral part of the Credit Hire, Road Traffic, and financial mis-selling teams.

Assisting the fee earners and Heads of department with the day to day running of road traffic, credit hire and financial mis-selling cases including:

  • Reviewing bank statements
  • Reviewing credit card statements
  • Reviewing tax returns
  • Reviewing wage slips
  • Reviewing profit and loss accounts
  • Liaising with clients to obtain accurate information
  • Liaising with external agents to obtain relevant financial documents
  • Assessing and calculating damages
  • Completing accurate financial position of claimants upon obtaining all relevant documents for Part 7 proceedings
  • Obtaining and reviewing hire rates, medical evidence, and subject access data
  • General administrative tasks

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Opportunity to progress to a full-time paralegal in the litigation department. We offer training contacts to traditional route candidates and are pledged to supporting staff in their career progression.
