What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To offer admin support to all aspects of the business
  • Ensure all filing and data is up to date
  • To greet all visitors to the office in a polite professional manner, directing them to relevant office staff member to resolve any queries
  • To answer phones calls in a polite professional manner, passing on clear messages
  • To undertake any support or admin duties as required by Franchise Owner or Care Manager
  • To help allocate and perform care visits when required
  • To assist with On Call duties as detailed on the On Call Rota

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • The Business Administration Apprentice will work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification via Weymouth College and will at the same time have formal training delivered by Home Instead.
  • Functional skills in Maths and English if required.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Prospect of progression to a higher level apprenticeship qualification and to progress within the business. Prospect of a permanent position for the right candidate on completion of the Apprenticeship and for onward progression within the organisation.
