What will the apprentice be doing?

As a Nursery Apprentice, you will contribute to a high-quality caring environment for children.

Your role will include you providing an environment where children can learn through fun, whilst stimulating their imagination through activities which allow them to develop through all of their senses. You will be vigilant of their wellbeing and safety and ensure that the physical environment that they are in is safe for them.

You will follow the EYFS to ensure that the nursery continues to follow the regulations set out by Ofsted.

This is a small, family run nursery offering a homely feel whilst allowing the children to learn, develop and grow within a safe environment.

Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Creating warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally
  • Under supervision you will provide all aspects of care for children including washing, changing and feeding

Level 2 Functional Skills Maths and English is available, if required.
