What will the apprentice be doing?

As a Cider Academy Apprentice, you will learn everything there is to know about how to take an apple and turn it into a packaged cider.

A major part of your apprenticeship will be working on our packing line using state-of-the-art engineering and technology to package our cider. You will form part of the team responsible for maintaining, operating, and fixing production line and machinery whilst also taking responsibility for hygiene, wastage, planning and health and safety.

You will also learn about the science behind the cider making process and will have the chance to work with our laboratory technicians and specialist cider teams who make our world-famous cider.

We will support you to complete the food and drink industry level 2 apprenticeship in food and drink processing, at the end of which you will be offered a permanent role with one of our teams.

At the beginning of your journey, we will create a training plan that meets your individual needs and will then develop your skills and knowledge through a range of events and networking opportunities.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full time permanent role in all areas of the business which could include progression to Engineering, production, blending, fermentation, Lab technician
