What will the apprentice be doing?

Upon completion of training the Health Care Assistant will be able to carry out:

  • Health checks
  • BP
  • Phlebotomy
  • General observations
  • Other duties will also include workflow optimisation and assigning of tasks

  • Adult care worker Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Level 2 diploma in care (adult care)
  • There is currently no college attendance required

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
