What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Assisting Site Surveyor with a range of commercial related tasks 
  • Support with the measurement of works as the project processes
  • Ensure site records are kept and maintained 
  • Copying and filing where necessary to ensure the smooth running of the commercial department

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 6 Construction quantity surveyor (degree) standard which includes:

  • A BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying or equivalent Quantity Surveying Level 6 Diploma that is approved by the industry’s recognised professional bodies and meets the educational requirements for the professional bodies’ full membership or chartered status

This role will also take part in a day release degree apprenticeship course at Northumbria University. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Tolent will support an apprentice through their apprenticeship giving them the skills, experience and qualifications to progress to Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
