What will the apprentice be doing?

We have an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking Ecommerce business as a Data analyst. The role involves supporting a number of departments to make accurate, data led decisions. A wide range of duties will include providing standard weekly reporting to more bespoke and detailed analysis from multiple data sources.

Throughout your journey you will be supported with on the job training and guidance from experienced mentors.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Analyse Product data to increase sales and profitability
  • Competitor Analysis
  • Sales and Stock Forecasting
  • Analysing Product and Service reviews
  • New Brand and Product research
  • Customer Analysis

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 4 Data Analyst, with training in how to:

  • Ascertain how data can be used to answer questions and solve problems
  • Gather, inspect, cleanse, transform and model data to identify patterns and trends
  • Present data and produce dashboards and reports to aid visualization and comparison
  • Use advanced theory and diverse techniques to harness greater understanding
  • Inform decision-making and make recommendations using an evidence-based approach
  • Ensure your business processes and procedures are compliant with data protection legislation
