What will the apprentice be doing?

Forward thinking Law firm are looking for a business and administration apprentice with an interest in the law.

Daily duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Greeting clients on arrival and offering refreshments
  • Answering the telephone and transferring calls to the appropriate person
  • Calling clients to arrange appropriate appointments
  • Emailing/calling clients to confirm their appointment/query
  • Assisting other members of the team with general administration duties
  • Helping to sort the post to set deadlines
  • Other general Administration to include scanning, photocopying and filing

We are situated within walking distance of a few bus stops and only a 2 minute walk from the nearest bus stop (number 1 route).

Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact. This involves regular catchups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study. This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 18-month apprenticeship you will have gained; Level 3 Business Administration.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Any new apprentice showing a dedication to qualifying as a lawyer in the future would be supported.
