    During the first 12 months apprentices do receive more that the national minimum wage wages do increase after the first 12 months depending on your performance

  • Working week

    Monday - Friday for the first 12 months. From 12 months onwards shift work can be possible. Days and shifts are to be confirmed.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Starting with 3 days in the classroom and 2 days in the workshop we get the majority of theory completed in the first 12 months 
  • Monday to Wednesday in the classroom, completing assignment work and lectures
  • Thursday and Friday in the dedicated workshop, learning new skills on the lathes, Millers and Bench fitting
  • After the first 12 months site placements will then start 
  • Days and shifts are to be confirmed

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 3 qualification in engineering
  • Our training centre is based in Hanley 
  • After 12 months at the training centre a placement will then be given on one of the sites around staffordshire where you will complete another 12 months
  • Days and shifts are to be confirmed

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The career progression is down to you as a motivated individual. we support a lot of higher level apprenticeships and degrees if you have the right attitude to work.
