What will the apprentice be doing?

Your daily duties will include:

  • Man the helpdesk and prioritise user calls to the department, escalating as required to a technician or the network manager.
  • Maintenance of all ICT equipment including; Workstations, Laptops, Projectors, Interactive Whiteboards etc.
  • Set up portable ICT equipment.
  • Create/change, as appropriate, user accounts, passwords and perform basic network administration duties.
  • Maintain department inventories and hardware serial number registers.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new hardware and software.

  • Remote training. 
  • IT Level 3 qualification.
