What will the apprentice be doing?

As an Apprentice you will be responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support to our accounts department. Other day to day duties will include:

  • Providing support to the Accountants
  • Payroll
  • Stock control
  • Postal duties
  • General Administration
  • Document preparation
  • Meet and greet all new visitors
  • Answering and redirecting phone calls
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Basic bookkeeping
  • Researching key projects

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Business Administration Standard.

Training will be provided in the work place and lessons will be carried out at Oldham College.
