What will the apprentice be doing?

An IT Support Analyst role within Aspgate includes ensuring smooth running of IT operations at customer sites which you have been assigned. You will need to take ownership of and manage all requests, managing the process through to successful completion, whilst ensuring a consistently high level of customer service at all times. As the face of the business and first point of contact for customers, high standards of professionalism and customer service must be maintained at all times.

Key responsibilities:

·        Configuration, installation and ongoing management & maintenance of firewalls, switches, access points and servers

·        Management of customer infrastructure and users by administering Active Directory domains

·        Taking phone calls, responding to emails and handling support tickets keeping with targeted SLAs

·        Setting up and configuring of windows PCs

·        Provide remote assistance to customers

·        Attend site to provide onsite support and completion of projects

Advanced Information Communication Techniques Apprenticeship Standard, Network pathway/Support Pathway.

Learners will attend college on a day release basis.

Things to consider

You’ll be expected to attend site when our customers require it. Your place of work will be at the Westcliff office, with the chance to work from home in the future. Your standard working days are Monday to Friday, there is the possibility of overtime and time in lieu. There may be an expectation to achieve certain examinations in the future
