What will the apprentice be doing?

  • The successful candidate will support the wider team in dealing with customer queries, system maintenance and administration support.

  • To provide support to the Customer Service Officer and Customer Services Team Leader to ensure productive and efficient administrative support to the wider Streetscene team.

  • The post holder will provide a wide range of office-based services to support the Waste Management, Street Cleansing and Grounds Maintenance services.

  • Communicate with members of the public, the call centre and internal and external agencies to ensure effective service delivery and to meet the customer promises and service standards of Streetscene.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Public Service Operational Delivery Officer Apprenticeship Standard:

  • Level 2 Award in Operational Delivery (Principles) and a Level 3 Certificate in Operation Delivery (Advanced)
  • Functional Skills in maths and English
  • Regular training and development sessions to meet the needs of the employer and the apprentice
