What will the apprentice be doing?

Your day-to-day jobs will be:

  • Assisting Stylists with their client's by shampooing and mixing
  • Customer service
  • Reception
  • Upkeep of the salon areas

As your skills develop you may be able to:

  • Blow dry client's hair
  • Straighten and curl client's hair
  • Apply colour to client's hair
  • Cut client's hair 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The qualifications you will achieve are:

  • NVQ Level 2 Hair professional
  • End Point Assessment
  • Functional Skills maths/English level 1/2 (if applicable)

Training will take place in salon with your employer/salon trainer on a regular basis for the duration of your apprenticeship.

Intuitions will provide in salon bespoke training once per forgtnight on a one to one basis for the duration of your apprenticeship.
