What will the apprentice be doing?

  • We are looking to employ a Trainee Parts Advisor (CV) based in our Sherburn depot. The successful candidate should have a 'can do' attitude, there's a career path towards Parts Advisor and Senior Parts Advisor roles
  • To ensure that all required parts for any particular repair or service and additional accessories are available or procured at the earliest opportunity
  • Check that all stock is in first-class condition
  • Ensure that stock is only issued in accordance with policy regarding payment or charge
  • Maintain stock control system
  • Work with other departments to facilitate the efficient delivery of parts
  • Assist all staff and customers in parts identification
  • Ensure all paperwork, documentation and requisitions are properly

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Intermediate Level 2 Apprentice Supply Chain Warehouse Operative, including NVQ and functional skills maths and English. Work based learning.
