What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Answering incoming telephone calls, registering enquiries, and taking messages.
  • Creating employee files for new recruits.
  • Processing DBS checks in line with compliance regulations.
  • Creating service user files for new clients.
  • Monitoring internal compliance systems.
  • Dictation typing.
  • Stock auditing of PPE and office stationery.
  • General printing, posting, and filing of important documents.
  • Pre-screening of new candidate applications.
  • Social media advertising and management.
  • Supporting the senior management team with any administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will be fully supported throughout their studies as well as being provided with extensive in-house training. Our highly experienced team have a wealth of business and administration experience, along with a kind and supporting nature. Through your progression with Access Dignity Care you will learn multiple skills such as, structure and process, organisation, daily planning, and project management. This role is so much more than an “apprenticeship”, it is an opportunity to develop and gain experience in, marketing, administration, effective call handling and in-depth knowledge of the health & social care sector. What’s more, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to progress their career with us following successful completion of this course.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • The apprentice will be working towards the Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard.
  • All delivered within the work place via online training and at Colchester Institute Campus.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Progression and a full-time position is possible for the right candidate including the opportunity to complete more advanced qualifications.
