About the employer

The Taps UK story started back in September 2004 when a vision of supplying quality bathroom and kitchen taps online to consumers was initiated by the founder and Director of the company, when he realised the extreme high costs of bathroom and kitchen taps in showrooms and DIY outlets. Having no knowledge or experience within the bathroom and kitchen industry or of online retailing, he saw a vision and risked all what little assets he had to commence his business venture. Initially, the business predominantly sold kitchen and bathroom taps through eBay, working from small premises in Redditch, Worcestershire. He set about sourcing and importing taps and accessories from Europe and the Far East, working night and day, 7 days a week in search of new suppliers and learning the industry, as well as dealing with the day to day business of dispatching goods and dealing with customer service issues
