What will the apprentice be doing?

During the apprenticeship, as you gain knowledge and experience, you will be encouraged to take on more responsibility and learning more about supply chain function of the business and developing the role.

As part of the apprenticeship you will be involved in:

  • Inputting data onto IT systems
  • Answering customer enquiries
  • Supporting with financial aspects such as invoices and locating suppliers
  • Minute taking
  • Booking meetings
  • Supporting with projects

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Business Administrator Standard delivered through combination of online workshops (once a fortnight) and monthly assessor visits in the workplace. No college attendance required.

  • Functional skills Maths and English (if required)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The company are looking for someone who wishes to develop their career within the business. Opportunities to progress into higher level apprenticeships within areas such as supply chain management.
