What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Assisting the clinician with treatment
  • Taking notes and adding details to the patients’ records
  • Sterilising instruments and maintaining and clean working environment
  • Preparing instruments and equipment for each appointment

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The successful candidate will be working towards a Dental Nursing Level 3 qualification with The Learning Foundry. You will be visited monthly by your dedicated Dental Nurse Tutor, attend a series of online tutorial sessions and may also be required to attend face to face sessions at our Liverpool City Centre based campus.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon becoming GDC qualified there are permanent positions available within the practice, as well as progression opportunities within the wider sector.
