What will the apprentice be doing?
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Going the extra mile for our customers, making sure they have an amazing experience with us
- Providing customers with amazing customer service while processing transactions at our Garden and Home tills
- Developing and sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues to help support others in building confidence
- Supporting the retail team with shop floor duties as and when required
- Raising and feeding-back any customer comments with your line manager
- At times, you may be required to support other departments due to business needs
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Duration:
13 months practical training period, plus 3 months for End Point Assessment.
Delivery model:
- Work-based training with your employer
- 5 days college attendance for key knowledge components
- Approximately 12 on-site assessment visits per year
- Level 1 Functional Skills in maths and English (7 days at college for each, if required)
- Off the job training will count for at least 6 hours of an apprentice’s time at work
